Snowstorm Hits Las Vegas
It is being called the snowiest December that Las Vegas has ever seen. Officially, 3.6 inches of snow were recorded making it the biggest snowstorm to hit Las Vegas since 1979.
The winter storm dumped more than a foot of fresh snow at the Las Vegas Ski and Snowboard Resort on Mt. Charleston. Officials recommend chains, snow tires or four-wheel drive when heading up the mountain.
