The winter storm dumped more than a foot of fresh snow at the Las Vegas Ski and Snowboard Resort on Mt. Charleston. Officials recommend chains, snow tires or four-wheel drive when heading up the mountain.Numerous roads around Southern Nevada were closed to traffic, including I-15 which did not reopen until nearly noon on Thursday. All roads were re-opened around 4:30 p.m. Thursday.
