Mexico has been going through some major flooding problems recently which haven't been highlighted by the media (or AccuWeather.com, as far as I can see). The first event was around the same time when Hurricane Ike hit the U.S., but was unrelated. Heavy rains caused the Rio Grande river to break a levee, flooding border facilities in Presidio, Texas.
