Florida, USA
A low pressure system currently off the east coast of Florida by this weekend could become the next tropical system to develop in the Gulf of Mexico.
The South Regional News story reports that the low pressure system between Florida and the Bahamas will continue to soak the Florida peninsula and the Southeast coast through Thursday.
By Thursday, the storm will cross Florida and enter the Gulf of Mexico. As forecast in the accompanying video.
The low could develop tropical characteristics as it moves over the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico.
